What are the digestive system problems?
Sometimes the parts of the digestive systems do not work properly, which then causes discomfort to the health. The common digestive system problems are:
- Gallstones - They are solidified pieces of the gastrointestinal fluid that form in the gallbladder. These can be as small as a grain of sand or as large as a ball.
- Irritable Bowel Syndrome - It is a collection of symptoms that affect the large intestine and causes abdominal discomfort and pain.
- Acid reflux and GERD - Acid reflux occurs when acid from the stomach regurgitates back into the food pipe and causes heartburn. If this continues for over one to two weeks, then it is GERD.
How can Ayurveda Cure digestive problems?
According to Ayurveda, eating food is essential for the creation of consciousness and our physical health. So it is important to pay a bit of attention to the sitting posture while eating as it relaxes our stomach. This is going to improve our digestion properly. The other way is to remove Agni before we begin eating. Hence, Ayurveda suggests taking Bhaskaralavanachurna along with buttermilk at least twice a day. Digestive Agni is very important for treating digestive health problems. You can also take Vandige for improving the appetite and regulating the bowel condition of an individual.
Bhaskaralavanachurna : Patients suffering from chronic indigestion can derive great benefit from this medicine.
DOSAGE : 2g to 3g. To be used with butter milk twice daily after meals.
Madeephalarasayana : Cures biliousness in the system. A tasty syrup. Can be used by one and all.
DOSAGE : 5ml to 10ml. To be used twice daily.
Soolakutharam : Useful for shooting pains.
DOSAGE : As directed by the physician.
Vandige : Useful in Improves appetite, Regulates bowel condition, Proven remedy for Indigestion, Protects from liver disorders.
DOSAGE : 2-3 tablets per day.

According to the constitution of the body, diet follow-up is essential for health and longevity. Every patient should observe precautions in diet the time of usage of the medicine to avoid aggravation and to obtain speedy results.
