What are skin diseases?
The skin diseases mostly are not curable but can be managed by some of the other methods. Some of the skin diseases are listed below.
- Acne - It occurs when the skin follicles are blocked with a plug of oil barristers and dead cells that are clumped together.
- Lichen Sclerosus - These are the white patches on the skin of genital and anal areas mainly but can be found on other parts also.
- Atopical dermatitis - This is a skin disease that causes itchiness which on scratched leads to redness, swelling, crusting, and a clear fluid formation.
- Rosacea - It is a long-term skin disease that involves the appearance of reddened skin and pimple mainly on the face.
How can Ayurveda cure skin disease?
From the perception of Ayurveda, it is seen that the Rakta dhatu (blood tissue), combines with Rasa dhatu (plasma) and nourishes the skin. But Rakta dhatu becomes imbalanced due to ingestion of hot food, alcohol, sun exposure, excessive work, or the pitta dosha. The pitta-dominant people experience more skin diseases that the vats and kaphas. Pitta heats the blood and imbalances the rasa and rakta dhatus. The pitta skin is reddish, freckled and gets affected by heat easily. The Kapha skin is oily and prone to blackhead and whiteheads. The Vata skin is very dry and hence shows premature aging signs. The Ayurvedic remedies help in detoxifying by cleansing it inside out.

DOSAGE : One tablet twice a day after breakfast and in the evening.

Sarivadhya Leha : An efficient blood purifier, Very useful in skin diseases, especially born of Venerial poisons in the systems, Increases blood, Highly recommended for blood purification, Cures bile. Efficacious Medicine for malnutrition and promotes health.
DOSAGE : 6g to 12g. To be used twice daily.
Panchatikthaghruta Guggul : Cures all typical skin diseases.
DOSAGE : 4 spoons of ghee with ¼ liter of milk, twice daily after food.
