What is mental illness?
Mental illness, also known as mental disorders, refers to a wide variety of mental health problems that affect your state of mind, thinking, and actions. Examples of mental illness include social anxiety, mood disorders, mood disorders, anxiety disorders, and addictive behaviors. The main symptoms of mental illness are:
- Sudden mood changes with highs and lows
- Withdrawal from friends and curriculum activities
- The low energy level and insomnia
- Trouble in understanding what people say
- Excessive anger and violence
- Suicidal attempts
- Symptoms of mental illness also cause physical problems such as back pain, stomach pain, headaches, or other unexplained aches and pains.
How does Ayurveda cure mental illness?
According to Ayurveda, an individual is considered to be healthy when they have a good balance of psychological and physical elements present in the body. Ayurveda medicine creates a significant impact on disorders such as depression, OCD, and anxiety. They have a holistic change in dealing with the patient by making them change their lifestyle and dietary habits. They believe that a healthy body can only have a healthy mind. There is an Ayurvedic medicine known as Saraswatharishta, which is used to improve mental health and brain disorders. It involves helping the patient become calm and guide their minds to replace their problematic ideas and thoughts with the functional ones.
Saraswatharishta : Helps to improve mental activity to reduce brain disorders. Can be used by men, women and children.
DOSAGE : To be taken with equal quantity of water in 10ml dosage after meals.
VAN BrahmiSaraswathilehya : Very useful in vital energy
DOSAGE : One and half tea spoon twice a day preferably with milk.
CAUTION : To be used only under medical supervision.
Swarnasuryavarthi : To be used for chronic nausea, vomiting, distaste and all bilious ailments. Very useful in jaundice, liver and spleen disorders.
DOSAGE : 1g = 5 doses. To be used twice daily with Madeephalarasayana or as directed by the physician
Diet:
According to the constitution of the body, diet follow-up is essential for health and longevity. Every patient should observe precautions in diet the time of usage of the medicine to avoid aggravation and to obtain speedy results.
